Trace Tape Heated Emergency Safety Shower

This trace tape heated and pre-insulated floor mounted safety shower is intended for use where there is a possibility of the water inside the pipework freezing due to extreme cold climates. Self-regulating trace tape heating provides maximum coverage along the pipework and automatically adjusts its heat output as conditions change, helping to prevent freezing while optimising energy use. Polyurethane foam insulation and a medium density polyethylene outer casing protect the heated pipework from impact and UV radiation for long-term reliability. The floor mounted design establishes a dedicated decontamination point. When activated via the pull handle, the shower delivers an evenly distributed, continuous flow of 76 litres per minute to provide effective full-body drenching. A stay-open valve allows hands-free operation during flushing. Models available to suit hazardous or non-hazardous areas, and meeting EN15154 and ANSI Z358.1-2014, this trace-heated unit provides compliant emergency decontamination for sites operating in ambient temperatures down to -25C (-13F).
