Portable Self-Contained Emergency Eye Bath Unit

This unheated 11 litre portable self-contained eye bath unit is designed as a secondary safety measure to supplement plumbed-in eye wash stations or provide emergency coverage in areas unsuitable for fixed installations. The pressurised stainless steel cylinder stores 11 litres of water and delivers a gentle, controlled flow for approximately two minutes through a handheld eye bath diffuser, allowing the user to direct the stream precisely onto the affected eye or face area. The 1.5 metre flexible hose provides excellent reach and manoeuvrability, making it particularly useful for assisting a casualty who is seated, lying down, or unable to reach a fixed unit easily. Activation is via a simple hand-operated lever on the diffuser, enabling rapid, intuitive use under stress. Clearly visible filling and operating instructions are printed on the cylinder to support correct charging and routine checks. An optional GRP cabinet is available to protect the unit from dirt and accidental damage when not in use, making it well suited to laboratories, workshops, and maintenance areas.
